Everything is stored on your PC. Local models never touch the network. When you choose a cloud provider, only the agents you point at it send anything, and only for the task you gave them. Everything else works with the cable unplugged.

Beta means beta.
The core is there: local models, cloud providers, agents that read files and run tools. Some macOS features are not on Windows yet, and you may hit rough edges, especially on first-run model downloads and less common GPU drivers. Expect frequent updates. Is Osaurus for Windows free?
Yes. No subscription, no usage caps. Cloud credits are optional and only for cloud models.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no account and no subscription. We ask for an email only so we can send you the private beta link.
Does it run on Windows 10?
No. Osaurus for Windows needs Windows 11 on x64 or ARM64.
Do I need a GPU?
Only for open models on-device, where you need at least 12 GB of VRAM (NVIDIA, AMD or Intel). Without one, use cloud models with your own keys or Osaurus Cloud credits.
Does it work on ARM64 laptops such as Snapdragon X?
Yes, with cloud models or your own keys. Running models on-device needs a 12 GB GPU, which most ARM64 laptops do not have.
Which models can I use?
Open models on your PC, plus OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, xAI, OpenRouter and more through your own keys or Osaurus Cloud credits.
When will I get my invite?
We email the private link in batches as places open. You will hear from us soon.
How is it different from the Mac app?
Same harness: agents, memory, tools, your choice of model. The Windows beta does not have every macOS feature yet; they arrive as the beta matures.
